Environmental Co-ordinator

Our client based in the Wiltshire area are seeking an Environmental Co-ordinator for this exciting new opportunity to co-ordinate the companies sustainable development work as well as implement the environmental management system.

To include:
Environmental Management System - ISO14001

* Monitoring legal compliance and highlight areas of non-compliance and advise management on appropriate actions. Maintaining necessary permits and emissions consents
* Ensure certification through document controls, achievement of objectives and targets, internal and compliance audits
* Support the development and implementation of management improvement programmes related to the EMS and to meet our 2020 goals
* Maintain ISO14001 communications programme

Operations
* Work with internal personnel on continued waste minimisation programme
* Provide expert advice on risk management and best practice with the operations team on environmental improvements and controls
* Provide technical assistance to projects working on improving environmental impact
* Working with product managers to gain environmental data for training and marketing materials

Packaging and WEEE regulations
* Ensure compliance by compiling and supplying accurate data

COSHH
* Work with H&S Administrator to ensure compliance with COSHH register, make risk assessments, secure MSDS, advise Ops managers on safety, storage, handling and transport requirements

FSC
* Monitoring compliance with the FSC scheme and highlighting chain-of-custody or non-compliance issues with management
* Ensure certification through document and process controls, internal and compliance audits

New Business Tenders and presentations
* Providing support to tender desk and individual enquiries for environmental support material

Carbon footprint and off-sets
Liaise with US environmental team on development of carbon foot-printing across product range

Communications & Training
* Maintain accurate website content
* Develop and deliver training programmes; in-house, clients, dealers, corporate inductions
* Deliver in-house environmental certificate programme, ensuring pass rates and gaining feedback evaluation

Support the H&S and HR functions on project work and with the risk assessment programme.

Human Factors Consultant

The job purpose is to provide Human Factors Integration advice, guidance and leadership across commercial and military projects of varying values, both internally and for Contract customers, in accordance with Scopes of Work and Project Plans.
To work individually and within a team environment of both Human Factors specialists and/or other engineering disciplines to achieve programme results and customer deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
