Accounts Assistant |
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join
their small finance team. The role includes a broad range of typical
accounts department activities such as raising invoices, chasing
payment, cash allocation, resolving issues, posting transactions
onto Sage, managing all aspects of payroll and general accounting
duties such as bank and supplier account reconcilliations. The successful
candidate will have a good attention to detail, knowledge of Sage
Line 50 as well as a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook,
Sage Payroll experience advantageous!
Duties to include:
- Payroll
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Order Purchasing
- Credit Control
- General accounts related

work unsupervised but will to take on additional and unrelated tasks

Title
Part-Qualfied Accountant / Office Manager |
Our client based in Bath are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant
for this challenging and varied role starting asap. The successful
applicant will be required to take on an accounts based role as
well as some office management responsibilities and line manage
up to 4 members of staff. The successful candidate should be at
least part qualified as well as have a full grasp of the latest
Sage accounting package, Excel, Word and Outlook. You will also
have a proven track record in office management and feel able to
manage a back office team of at least 4 with occasional temporary
support staff from time to time.
Duties to include:
- Monthly management accounts
- The year-end financial statements to trial balance stage
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Administering both the sales & purchase ledgers including
raising P/O's
- Credit Control of the Sales Ledger
- Management of the Purchase Ledger
- Preparation of Cash Flows, cash flow forecasts & bank reconcilliations
- Recording and monitoring income activity from credit card
- Administering the company's credit cards
- Monitoring monthly budgets as set by the management team
- Liaising with the MD for the purpose of setting monthly sales
targets
- Administering, control & reconcile the company's bank account
- Administer, control & reconcile the company's petty cash
- Administer, control and reconcile staff expenses, holidays &
lieu time

Accounts Assistant (part-time) |
Our client, based in Bath is seeking an Accounts Assistant for
this part-time opportunity starting as soon as possible. To work
between 15 - 20 hours per week (flexible). The successful applicant
will ideally offer some Accounts experience + knowledge of Sage.
You should also have a real eye for detail as accuracy is a must!
Duties to include:
- Undertake bank transfers and cash flow updates
- Bank transaction authorisation and send accordingly
- Coding Purchase Ledger Invoices
- Enter Purchase Ledger Invoices into Sage
- Payments / transfers - enter into Sage
- Banking and entering receipts - enter into Sage
- Bank reconciliation
- Various other related duties as required
