Meet the am|personnel Team

Reg Roberts is our Managing Director/Owner, he is a fellow Chartered Accountant and a member of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC).

He obtained his accountacy articles in Sydney, Australia before coming to the UK in the early '80's. Since then, Reg has owned and operated recruitment businesses with a strong southern hemisphere connection.

His vision has made the Target Group into a flexible, efficient and highly effective operation that has always had a 'can do' attitude. A people person with professional accountancy skills; what better partner to have on your side when recruiting the best staff for your business!

Not only that, but Reg is a winner! He has represented both Great Britain and England in fullbore target shooting since 1988.


Michele Devlin is our Operations Director. Michele is a recruitment professional with a total of 19 years experience including 11 years spent in-house, working in human resources and personnel management.

Michele has worked in sectors as diverse as in banking, mining, television before moving to a high street recruitment agency, and then running a public/private partnership for the long-term unemployed. A fellow of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, Michele has been with the Target Group since 2002.


Helen Watson is our Manager looking after the Temporary Division and heading up the office. With over 7 years with am|personnel, Helen has built up a great reputation in the local market. In addition to pursuing her passion for day to day recruitment, Helen plays an important role in the development of the team and keeping the company moving forward.

Weekends and holidays; She is a keen runner who enjoys nothing more than running on a Saturday morning! When not running, Helen will be found exercising her horses and enjoying the countryside. To 'switch off' she also enjoys meeting up with friends and indulging in the odd bacardi and coke!


Alison Hayward has recently joined am personnel, with 6 years recruitment experience she has focused on Retail, Creative and Marketing sectors. After spending 16 years in London Alison relocated to the South West just over a year ago bringing with her hands on knowledge of the Retail market.

Alison is passionate about Retail, Design and brand identity. She gained extensive Retail Management and Operations experience working within some of London’s leading top end store environments.

Weekends and Holidays
Outside of work Alison is enjoying her new life living in the Countryside whilst balancing working life in Bath and enjoying a new social and cultural scene. She is a keen traveller and not adverse to solo backpacking, taking in a variety of destinations.

Her love of Design extends into her hobbies which include Furniture renovation and Jewellery making. Always a keen socialiser she enjoys nothing more than a cocktail in one of Bath’s more flamboyant venues, or a quick drink in a cosy County Pub.
