We can assure you that all work carried out on your organisation’s behalf will be undertaken on a strictly confidential basis. Starting Your Staffing Search Our Search Methodology Appropriate candidates are then contacted and given comprehensive information about the opportunity (whilst maintaining client confidentiality at all times). With their interest confirmed, we will send you their curriculum vitae and our individual recommendations, together with the results of each candidate’s skills assessment. We will aim to send you a shortlist of three or four candidates which meet your required specifications. In the majority of cases, candidates will have been reference-checked at this stage. Where this has not been possible, references will be checked slightly later in the process, subject to an offer of engagement. Given the unique parameters of each job, this shortlist may sometimes be shorter (or longer) than three or four individuals, but be assured that we will only send you information on relevant candidates and will not inundate you with curriculum vitae. Our tailored shortlist enables you to view a range of excellent candidates and make a choice regarding the most suitable person for your organisation, whilst saving you time and money on the initial screening process. In order to maximise the scope of our search on your behalf, am | personnel will also include details of the opportunity on our website and, using local paper and web-based mediums, advertise as deemed appropriate for your particular role. Consistency of Approach Who Else Do We Deal With? Temporary Assignments The am | personnel Promise Confidentiality Finding The Perfect Temporary Candidate We believe in treating our clients with respect and honesty at all times. In the unlikely event that we cannot source a suitable candidate for your temporary assignment, we will always let you know. We will never send you a candidate who does not meet your specifications and neither will we inundate you with unsuitable curriculum vitae whilst you are making your selection. How To Book Your Temp If you are a new client, we will arrange to meet with you at the office premises where the successful temporary candidate will be based. We have always found this initial meeting to be essential in helping us gain a full understanding of your company, its corporate ethos, mission statement and working environment, which in turn enables us to provide you with the perfect candidate. am | personnel will then confirm the assignment duration, job requirements and hourly rates in writing. For short-term assignments (a week or less), am | personnel would use its expertise to select the most appropriate candidate for the role and advise you of our choice, together with some background information on the candidate’s previous work experience. For longer-term assignments, we will collate the curriculum vitae of a number of suitable candidates and send these across to you for selection. We would always recommend a meeting between the client and the proposed long-term temporary candidate before the placement begins. To ensure a seamless transition into the role, a handover is often requested by our clients. Our temporary candidates are usually more than happy to accommodate a handover period, either over a lunch hour or at the end of the day if they are currently on assignment, or at your convenience if they are not. We would recommend that the handover period be included on the usual weekly timesheet once the candidate has begun work with you. The Follow-Up Service As part of our ongoing quality control, after the assignment has finished we will send you a brief assessment form asking for your comment on the effectiveness of the temporary worker during the assignment. This information is also logged onto the candidate’s individual file, giving us an ongoing account of their performance. Who Else Do We Deal With?
